Kathmandu: The Secondary School Examination (SEE) is commencing from today across the country. According to the Office of the Controller of Examinations under the National Examination Board, the SEE will be conducted in 2,079 examination centers nationwide. The examination will start at 8:00 am.
On the first day, students will sit for exams in compulsory English, compulsory Sanskrit, and compulsory Arabic language subjects. This year, a total of 514,071 students are participating in the SEE, a noticeable increase compared to 464,785 students last year.
To ensure smooth conduct of the examinations, arrangements have been made to deploy one assistant superintendent and one invigilator for every 20 students in centers hosting up to 150 examinees.
The SEE, which begins today, will continue until April 1. All examinations are scheduled to be held from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
